Mercer will share a few highlights from their 2018 Talent Trends Study and how these trends may impact employee rewards. One of the trends covered will include findings on the disconnect of the employee value proposition employees desire from that offered by employers, and how total rewards can be designed to align with employee preferences. After discussing broader talent trends, they will shift focus to the evolving role of IT in organizations and the specific impact it is having on the IT workforce. They will cover trends in IT skills, talent and reward practices focused on engaging the future IT workforce.
Presenter Bios:
Loree Griffith is a Principal in Mercer’s Careers business in New York. She specializes in designing and analyzing broad-based employee reward programs covering salary management, performance management, incentive plan design, job titling and human resources benchmarking. Loree has over 20 years of experience in rewards consulting. She is also the Northeast Lead for Mercer’s International Talent Community of Interest and has served on the advisory team for Mercer’s Survey Panel initiative. Representative clients include large global/organizations, mid-size firms and foreignowned subsidiaries across a broad range of industries, including diversified financial services, pharma/life sciences and information technology.
Yelena Shur is a Senior Associate in Mercer’s Careers business. Yelena specializes in rewards, including executive remuneration, workforce rewards and salary structure development, M&A due diligence and post-integration support, incentive plan design, incentive plan risk assessment, retention plan design, and compensation philosophy and strategy development. Yelena also has experience in other talent-related areas, having completed projects related to career frameworks, shared services center design and deployment, talent selection and development, training design, employee engagement surveys, and HR effectiveness.
Lawrence Albert is a Senior Associate in the Mercer’s Talent Strategy and Rewards practices. He advises clients in North America and globally on achieving business results through improving the effectiveness of employee performance. Lawrence supports project teams of public, private, and non-profit clients in advanced analysis and project management in a variety of talent strategy and rewards consulting areas.
