Manager Total Rewards NYC
This position is responsible for the global oversight, design, and management of the companys incentive plans to ensure alignment with the business strategy. Provide direction on the development of sales incentives, continuous assessment of the companys programs to ensure innovate compensation solutions through analysis of internal and external markets. This leader will also work closely with Total Rewards operations to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design management and other incentive programs that link pay to performance.
Design sales incentive plans that are aligned with the companys business objectives and talent strategy, while ensuring the achievement of consistent and market-driven levels of compensation.
Partner with Finance and Business Units in setting goals and monitoring performance levels.
Identify and implement strategies to simplify and standardize programs and process.
Lead and deliver on incentive plan harmonization opportunities.
Create controls and governance on incentive plan development and participation, forecasting dashboards, and modelling tools.
Partner in the design of effective compensation-related communications to managers and employees.
Develop plan documents and guidelines.
Drive company philosophy and consistent policies for pay programs and plan participation criteria.
Provide thought leadership on current and emerging incentive trends.
Serve as internal resource to leadership in the development of cash and non-cash incentives.
Oversee final award recommendations to assure alignment with performance, adherence to budgets and compliance with approvals.
Drive process improvement for all components of incentive planning.
Work closely with HR Business Partners to answer questions regarding incentive plan issues, establish best practices, and improve manual processes.
Bachelor degree in HR, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years compensation or finance experience; 7+ years in incentive design
Deep knowledge of global regulatory environment
Ability to influence, deliver results and collaborate across functions and teams
Must be willing to be strategic and tactical
Highly developed analytical skills ability to define and measure plan performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Most possess strong communication, negotiation and listening skills
Must have proven project management skills to move projects forward, bias for action
Must have strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex concepts
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues
