Executive Compensation Consultant  NYC

Executive Compensation Consultant - (17000565) Position Objective: The Executive Compensation Consultant will provide analytical support to the Manager, Executive Compensation in the management of executive compensation programs. The individual in this role will have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects. S/he will participate in a broad range of compensation activities including, but not limited to: market pricing analysis/evaluation, preparation of executive level reports, reviewing communications and plan design. S/he will also be responsible for the administering and management of executive compensation data Ideal Candidate: A seasoned compensation professional with the ability to work flexibly and creatively to establish and continually enhance the Compensation function. Someone who can quickly review information and ensure accuracy in their work. Experienced working with highly compensated individuals and executives. Responsibilities: The incumbent will support fellow compensation team members as well as the HR Business Partner organization and HR management with problem solving, analysis, development of supporting materials. Under guidance of the Manager, Executive Compensation s/he will coordinates with Human Resource, Legal, Finance, Tax/Compliance and Operating Teams to facilitate and ensure complete end-to-end administration of executive compensation. Will also be called on to provide support for HR M&A actives. Support the Manager, Executive Compensation in administering compensation programs for senior officers of the company Create, organize and maintain executive data so that it can quickly and easily be referenced Assist in the project planning and submission of materials to the Human Resources and Governance Committee and Board of Directors Participate in executive survey matching sessions and complete market analysis Develop ad hoc reports as necessary Support the Head of Compensation and/or Compensation team on large initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field Five to seven years in compensation; At least two years’ experience working with executive compensation. Knowledge of government regulations applicable to compensation base and incentive compensation programs, company policies and operations Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work in fast paced, high performing environment Strong organization skills Strong analytical abilities
